We would like to request a post-review transfer of our manuscript entitled "Epidermal Growth Factor Signaling Activates The Ubiquitin Proteasome System In Response To Aging In C. elegans," to The EMBO Journal. Our paper demonstrated a positive and instructive role for EGF signaling in promoting longevity in C. elegans. Importantly, we showed that a key underlying mechanism for lifespan extension by EGF is the upregulation of the Ubiquitin Proteasome System (UPS), thereby enhancing protein homeostasis and quality control.
